A California obstetrician-gynecologist (OBGYN) posted a video on social media this week, telling admitted child killer Lindsay Clancy that she is “proud” of her. The post has drawn significant backlash and sparked calls for consequences. Clancy is on trial in Massachusetts for the 2023 strangulation deaths of her three young children. The trial remains ongoing. [snip] “Hindsight is 20/20, but I don’t know what else you could’ve done,” said Sterling. “You were far beyond what should be expected of a single individual.” She added that Clancy had “galvanized us women in a really powerful way,” explaining to the defendant that “we are proud of how hard you advocated and how hard you tried for yourself.” Additionally, Sterling said she has her own story to tell, but is not yet ready. Clancy, 36, is accused of strangling her three small children to death with an exercise band while her husband, Patrick Clancy, was in the store. She then jumped from a second-story window. Clancy survived the fall, but was left paralyzed. Her children were five years, three years, and eight months old.
