President Trump went off on the fake news during his rally in Dayton, Ohio last night, calling out CNN by name and blasting the network’s Trump-hating White House correspondent, Kaitlan Collins. “We’re the hottest country anywhere in the world. It’s the golden age of America. It’s the golden age of America,” Trump told the crowd before calling out CNN for its constantly negative coverage of his presidency. [snip] Trump continued by slamming Kaitlan Collins. “She’s such an unhappy person. She’s a young, nice person, but she never, never smiles. She’s a very unhappy person,” he said of Collins. “But the fake news media — they refuse to talk about our record-setting numbers, so tonight, if you don’t mind, I’m going to do it myself because if I don’t do it, nobody else is.” WATCH: (Video from YouTube) Trump previously made similar comments, attacking Collins during an Oval Office press conference in June. “I never see a smile on her face,” Trump said while slamming her for supporting the Democrats’ abuse and weaponization of justice against Trump supporters. I see her standing there with hatred in her eyes, like she has hatred because we have borders, because we have a strong military, because we cut our taxes, because we do things that everybody wanted,” he continued.
