The White House Correspondents’ Dinner was held again on Friday night, after the first attempt to hold the dinner back in April was interrupted by an assassination attempt against President Donald Trump. President Trump was in attendance again, and he delivered an enthusiastic roast of the media, as well as some jokes about people in his own administration, such as the Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Some of the media, of course, had their typical sour reaction to Trump roasting them, as we reported. WATCH: Now, I have to admit that when I was a kid, I liked doing magic, so I wanted to bring you some of mentalist Oz Pearlman’s act from the dinner. Oz put Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche on the spot. He asked him to secretly count how much money he had in his wallet, tell him to lie about the amount (Blanche said $130), then Oz would guess the right amount. [snip] Then, in another trick, Oz asked people, including Fox News national correspondent Kevin Corke, to think of a person, living or dead, whom they would like to interview. Oz guessed several names correctly of other people. But he even pulled in a member of the audience to help guess the person of whom Corke was thinking, which was a unique spin. “I’m going to do something exceptionally crazier, you’re going to talk about this for years.”Oz the Mentalist pulls off an astonishing mind-reading stunt with @kevincorke.In a shocking twist, someone else correctly reveals the thought in Corke’s mind leaving everyone at the… pic.twitter.com/F6bjgBdXjG— Fox News (@FoxNews) July 25, 2026 [snip] Oz also had Blanche sign a bill and sit on it. Then he had members of the audience, including U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz, choose important dates and random numbers. When those numbers were multiplied, they worked out to 53,670,682. Hint: misdirection and talking can cover up what you’re doing. But he put it over pretty well.
