The radical left media and Democrat-aligned election groups are in full meltdown mode after President Trump refused to rule out emergency action to secure the 2026 midterms. The Guardian is shrieking today that President Donald Trump is “sowing election distrust” and “laying the groundwork” to declare a national emergency ahead of the 2026 midterms. [snip] The Trump administration is releasing government records about noncitizen voting, foreign interference, vulnerable election systems, and serious failures involving state voter rolls. According to The Guardian, election activists fear that Trump could use the administration’s findings to declare a national-security emergency and assert greater federal authority over the November midterms. The paper pointed to Trump’s July address on election security, the release of declassified intelligence documents, new federal findings concerning noncitizen voting, and the administration’s relentless push for voter identification and proof of citizenship. [snip] Adversaries including China, Russia, Iran and North Korea have the capability to target our election infrastructure. Non-citizen registration numbers in the hundreds of thousands were flagged by DHS analysis. Voting machine vulnerabilities were highlighted. The deep state tried to bury it for years.
