The United States Embassy in Saudi Arabia warned Americans about traveling to the country after the Houthis launched several attacks against the kingdom, including one on an airport in the capital that killed more than a dozen people and wounded hundreds more. The embassy released an advisory on Monday warning of the risk of an attack by Iran or the Iranian-backed Houthis, a terrorist group based in Yemen. [snip] On Saturday, the King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh was targeted in an attack attributed to the Houthis. Thirteen people were reportedly killed and hundreds injured. Though this attack stood out as a high-casualty event, the kingdom has endured numerous strikes over the last week. [snip] “The Houthis are behaving very badly. I thought they learned their lesson a year ago when we bombed the HELL out of them and, at their request, stopped,” Trump posted to Truth Social. “They’ve been silent for a long time, but now they’ve emerged again, probably at the behest of Iran, which is a Failing Nation, with No Navy, No Airforce, the World’s Worst Economy, and 301% Inflation, in a very nasty way, hitting Saudi Arabia, and purposefully trying to drive up Oil Prices, probably prior to the U.S. Elections – NOT NICE,” he continued. [snip] “Following the onset of hostilities between the United States and Iran on February 28, 2026, there has been an ongoing threat of drone and missile attacks from Iran,” the embassy stated. “Commercial flights are operational from Saudi Arabia, though they have been significantly disrupted at times.” [snip] “Armed groups in Yemen have attacked Saudi border towns and other sites in Saudi Arabia with armed drones, missiles, and rockets,” it continued. “People near the border with Yemen are at increased risk. Do not travel to this area for any reason.” (*) Full article: https://www.oann.com/newsroom/u-s-embassy-warns-americans-about-traveling-to-saudi-arabia-risk-of-drone-and-missile-targeting/ Post navigation Child bride crisis exposed after Germany welcomes Islamic invasion of its nation Rep.
